About the Authors
Whitney is a partner and co-chair of Vorys eControl and the firm’s intellectual property and technology protection group. He focuses his practice on internet brand and reputation issues, including online seller enforcement, internet defamation, patent and intellectual property infringement, and misleading marketing and advertising. Whitney has developed custom programs for companies confronting these issues with investigative tools and services.
Daren is a partner and co-chair of eControl; his practice involves the implementation, both domestically and internationally, of cutting-edge enforcement systems. In addition, he counsels clients on distribution and e-commerce channel controls, which are designed to grow brand value, preserve brand integrity and combat unauthorized online sellers. Daren has a long history of representing some of the nation’s largest retailers.
Mark is an associate in the Vorys Pittsburgh office and a member of the Vorys eControl group. As part of Vorys eControl, Mark focuses his practice on brand protection and eCommerce around the world. In his practice, Mark counsels businesses in the development and implementation of go-to-market strategy, authorized seller programs, quality controls, selective distribution, and other tools necessary to protect brands.
